Quick tutorial on how to use your Raptor EM Alert app.

Raptor EM alerts is replacing the panic button. When administration staff initiates a drill, you will get a notification through that app onto your phone. (Make sure to have your notifications set to 'Allow' in your settings app. I will cover that at the end of this tutorial.)

App looks like this:

How to sign in:

When you first open the app, you'll see a screen like this (If you haven't already logged in.)

Log in using the format: A#@sarasotacountyschools.net

It should bring you to another familiar looking login page. Login using the same format as above with your SCS password.

After you login, it will bring you to a page that looks like this.

It's similar to the panic app where it has all the main incidents on the home page. Use if necessary.

When the drill/incident initiates, that notification will appear on your phone. If you click the notification, it will bring you to a page that looks similar to this. (This is just an example, ours will have our school name on it.)

After you perform your emergency drill protocol, make sure to double check that every student is accounted for. Right after, click that notification from Raptor, click 'Take Attendance.' Then select your class period. You'll see a screen that looks like this.

Select your class period. You'll then see a list of your students.

If all are present, hit the button 'Select All' at the top. Two buttons will appear at the bottom. Hit 'Change Status.'

Select the apporiate response. If all are present, click 'Accounted For.'

Another window will appear asking to update location, click yes.

Select the location, or create one at the top.

After, you should see a change of status in each student. Example:

If you don't see the notification or if you accidentally cleared it, go to your Raptor EM alert app. Then at the bottom, click 'Incidents.' This is where you find all live incidents.

To enable notifications on your phone (iPhone), go to your settings app.

Go to 'Notifications.' Scroll down to 'Raptor EM alerts.'

Enable 'Allow Notifications.'

And that's it! You're done!
